If you use Android, you probably use the Google Assistant. Anything Bixby can do, Assistant can do better. Sorry, Samsung. In order to completely disable the Bixby button, you have to a least press it once, and then set up Bixby. If you plan on not using Bixby at all, you can just breeze through the setup.
See that little cog icon at the top right? Tap it. The menu literally contains just the one toggle, so turn it off. From now on, nothing will happen when you tap the Bixby Button. No more Bixby Home for you! The cool thing here is that if you still use Bixby voice for something anythingyou can still long-press the button to bring up Voice.

The only problem is that it can annoy many users who involuntarily activate it. There are many reasons to want to get rid of the Pixby assistant. Some people might not appreciate that the assistant can be activated by accident, and other people might not want to use the Bixby Voice feature.
Despite its initial reluctance, Samsung has finally given us the option of deactivating the physical button on its devices.
All you have to do is swipe to the right until you reach Bixby Home or press and hold down the Bixby button. Tired of unintentionally activating Bixby on the home screen? Do you think it is useful or interesting to remove Bixby? Or do you think the voice assistant is necessary for your smartphone? Kind of drastic, but I bet a drop of superglue in and around that button would stop it.
Open Bixby as you normally would by clicking the physical button on the left. From the Bixby main screen, tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner of your screen. A window will open at the top with the cursor set to the On position. Deactivate the Bixby button by switching it to the Off position. Click on the button at the top right to activate or deactivate Bixby. Press the three vertical dots on the top right.

The company is continually improving the app and adding additional third-party app support and more commands.
Bixby Home can be customized to a degree. You can alter or pin cards by tapping the two lines in the upper-right corner of an individual Bixby Home card. If you want to get rid of a card, swipe it to the right and you can choose to hide it for now, dismiss it forever, or cancel your swipe. The list of third-party services that support Bixby Home is growing. A Spotify card provides one-tap access to your playlists and music, and full support is on its way. Facebook, Foursquare, and Twitter show the latest updates from your social circles.
Uber will show your recent rides. Bixby has a lot of features to enjoy outside of just Home and Voice. Simply put, Routines lets you set up Bixby to handle various repetitive tasks by understanding various triggers. For instance, if you listen to the same Spotify playlist while going to work, then you can set up a Routine that opens Spotify and starts playing a playlist as soon as you connect to the Bluetooth in your car.
